AURORA - Pure Love song (2020)

 

ITA: Pure Love Song è un mini-album strumentale nato nel 2020, ed è probabilmente il progetto a cui sono più legata in assoluto. È il secondo concept mini-album che abbia creato, ma quello di cui sono più orgogliosa dal punto di vista musicale. Ancora oggi rimango colpita dalla ricercatezza dei suoni, dalla varietà degli strumenti utilizzati e dalle atmosfere che ho cercato di costruire per raggiungere il mio obiettivo. Il tema del disco è chiaro: Pure Love Song celebra l’amore puro attraverso una musica dal respiro cinematografico, capace di esprimere non solo la forza e la luminosità dell’amore, ma anche le difficoltà necessarie per raggiungerlo. Ho immaginato sei scenari differenti, sei storie di “pure love”.

1. In For the Vows of Love, la musica accompagna la storia di due giovani che si amano ma non possono stare insieme; attraverso un voto solenne promettono eterna devozione. 
2. Realized Dream esplora il momento in cui un amore finalmente trova corrispondenza, quando il sogno coltivato a lungo si realizza e diventa realtà.
3. Childlike Love, nonostante il titolo possa suggerire ingenuità, racconta un amore che nasce nell’infanzia e cresce nel tempo: mani che si stringono tra giochi innocenti e, anni dopo, si cercano ancora, con la stessa purezza ma con una consapevolezza adulta.
4. Wisteria Vow è un titolo evocativo ma preciso: il “voto di glicine” simboleggia la distanza tra due amanti costretti a vivere in città lontane, che si augurano una vita lunga e felice nella speranza di potersi riunire un giorno.
5. Happy Embroidery racconta un amore audace, gioioso e passionale che, come un abito, viene ricamato e decorato insieme, punto dopo punto, attraverso le esperienze condivise.
6. Infine, Destined Fate narra di un amore predestinato che, nonostante mille difficoltà, continua a ritrovarsi, cercarsi e riconoscersi, senza lasciarsi mai davvero.

Avevo scritto anche dei testi per queste sei storie. Tuttavia, non sapevo come registrare la mia musica in casa e, soprattutto, non ero ancora in pace con la mia voce. Così le tracce sono rimaste strumentali. Ad oggi, mentre scrivo (2026), non ho ancora provato a trasformarle nelle loro versioni complete come vere e proprie canzoni.

ENG: Pure Love Song is an instrumental mini-album released in 2020, and it is probably the project I feel most attached to. It is the second concept mini-album I have created, but the one I am most proud of from a musical perspective. Even today, I am still struck by the refinement of the sounds, the variety of instruments used, and the atmospheres I sought to build in order to achieve my vision. The theme of the record is clear: Pure Love Song celebrates pure love through cinematic music capable of expressing not only the strength and radiance of love, but also the challenges required to reach that kind of depth and purity. I imagined six different scenarios — six stories of “pure love.”

1. In For the Vows of Love, the music follows the story of two young lovers who cannot be together; through a solemn vow, they promise eternal devotion.
2. Realized Dream explores the moment when love is finally returned, when a long-held dream becomes reality.
3. Childlike Love, despite its seemingly innocent title, tells the story of a love that begins in childhood and grows over time — hands intertwined among childhood games, and years later, still seeking each other with the same purity, but with adult awareness.
4. Wisteria Vow is both evocative and precise: the “wisteria vow” symbolizes the distance between two lovers forced to live in faraway cities, wishing each other long and happy lives while hoping to reunite one day.
5. Happy Embroidery portrays a bold, joyful, and passionate love that, like a garment, is embroidered and decorated together, stitch by stitch, through shared experiences.
6. Finally, Destined Fate tells of a predestined love that, despite countless obstacles, continues to find its way back — seeking, recognizing, and choosing each other again and again.

I had also written lyrics for these six stories. However, I did not know how to properly record my music at home, and above all, I was not yet at peace with my voice. So the tracks remained instrumental. As of today, while writing this (2026), I have not yet attempted to turn them into their full versions as complete songs.
