RORUA: SHINE ON ME! (MINI ALBUM) - 2018

ITA: SHINE ON ME! è il quarto mini album delle Rorua e rappresenta una tappa di piena consapevolezza nel loro percorso artistico. Il titolo, che coincide con la title track, racchiude il cuore del progetto: brillare senza chiedere permesso, affermare sé stessi, trasformare vulnerabilità ed emozioni in forza. Il mini album arriva dopo una fase di lancio strutturata attraverso due singoli di supporto, che hanno accompagnato e anticipato l’uscita del lavoro. Il primo singolo, Only You, includeva la b-side Never Die e presentava entrambe le tracce anche in una speciale Reimagined Rorua Version. Il secondo singolo, Mirror, è stato invece affiancato dalle b-side Miss U e na na la da di, arricchito da una Piano Version di Mirror e dalle versioni re-immaginate di Miss U e na na la da di. Nel complesso, eliminando le tracce già conosciute dai singoli, il disco contiene 2 brani completamente inediti e originali. Oltre alla versione standard, SHINE ON ME! è disponibile anche in una Fan-Club Edition, con copertina alternativa e 5 tracce aggiuntive.

• In the Web of Destiny - Un’apertura ambiziosa e simbolica che intreccia amore, pensiero e destino. Il brano riflette sull’amore come forza universale, capace di attraversare il tempo, le scelte e l’identità, diventando il filo invisibile che connette le persone.
• na na la da di - Una canzone dal tono apparentemente leggero che nasconde una riflessione urgente sul rapporto tra essere umano e mondo. È un invito a fermarsi, osservare e prendere coscienza delle conseguenze delle proprie azioni prima che sia troppo tardi.
• SHINE ON ME! - La title track è pura attitudine: brillante, sicura, ironica e magnetica. Racconta l’autoaffermazione, il piacere di essere sé stessi e la libertà di brillare senza giustificazioni, trasformando l’amore e l’ego in energia vitale.
• Only You - Un inno alla connessione emotiva, ai ricordi condivisi e a quella presenza che rende ogni luogo e ogni momento significativo. Il brano celebra l’intimità come spazio di libertà.
• Never Die - Una dichiarazione di resilienza e determinazione. Parla di sogni, paure e progetti, ma soprattutto della forza che nasce quando si affrontano le sfide insieme.
• Mirror - Una riflessione introspettiva sull’identità, sulle maschere e su ciò che rimane quando si smette di fuggire da sé stessi. Il brano esplora il confronto con le proprie fragilità e con il tempo che cambia.
• Miss U - Un addio sospeso tra nostalgia e amore. Racconta la distanza, la perdita e la difficoltà di lasciare andare qualcuno che continua a vivere nei ricordi.

ENG: SHINE ON ME! is the fourth mini album by the Rorua and marks a moment of full awareness in their artistic journey. The title, which also serves as the album’s title track, captures the core of the project: shining without asking for permission, affirming oneself, and transforming vulnerability and emotion into strength The mini album follows a carefully structured release phase built around two supporting singles that introduced and accompanied the project. The first single, Only You, included the B-side Never Die and featured both tracks in a special Reimagined Rorua Version. The second single, Mirror, was released alongside the B-sides Miss U and na na la da di, and was further enriched by a Piano Version of Mirror as well as reimagined versions of Miss U and na na la da di. Overall, excluding the tracks already known from the singles, the album contains two completely new and original songs. In addition to the standard version, SHINE ON ME! is also available in a Fan-Club Edition, featuring an alternative cover and five additional tracks.
